DevDeliver

DAO-compatible delivery mapping

How DevDeliver works

DevDeliver connects delivery planning with a focused courier map, route mapping and a shared delivery-location record. It is an independent solution designed to fit alongside DAO and similar delivery operations without replacing their established systems.

One connected workflow

From route data to field knowledge, without losing operational control.

A normal delivery night moves through six clear stages. Each stage leaves the next person with the information they need.

01ImportBring route plans into a consistent, privacy-conscious operational structure.
02AssignAllocate one or several routes to the right available courier.
03PrepareChoose route order, starting point and map visibility.
04NavigateGuide the courier through current and next delivery points.
05RespondAdapt to closures and route changes during the operation.
06LearnBuild a trusted register from completed-delivery GPS evidence.

Two focused experiences

Managers prepare the operation. Couriers execute it with less uncertainty.

Courier workspace

A mobile-first route map, assigned routes, delivery order controls, live GPS, road awareness and access to the company delivery-position register.

Management workspace

Route intake, route assignment, people and PIN management, delivery issue review and approval of shared GPS knowledge.

Account Manager
Controls company users, permissions, settings and the complete operational picture.
Manager
Receives delegated company administration for route assignment and daily operations.
Courier
Sees assigned routes, navigation tools and approved company delivery knowledge.

Courier experience

A live map designed for one-handed field use.

The courier signs in with an employee number and six-digit PIN. Their page contains only routes assigned to that account, with the current stop kept visually dominant.

  • See the current address, house number and route identity together.
  • Preview the next destination and its route before completing the current stop.
  • Follow the imported delivery order forward or in reverse without losing the selected address.
  • Jump directly to a street or address when the route must start elsewhere.
  • Use car or scooter mode, heading-up navigation, satellite view and night mode.
  • Open sliding control docks only when needed, leaving more map space on mobile.

Shared delivery intelligence

Every completed delivery can improve the next one.

Couriers can view the company-managed delivery GPS register and learn from positions recorded by other drivers. The source coordinate remains visible for comparison.

  • Compare original route coordinates with delivered GPS positions using clear lines.
  • Filter visible evidence by route, address, courier source and distance range.
  • Suggest a corrected position directly from the map for manager review.
  • Use an approved company position for routing when one exists; otherwise retain the original route coordinate.
  • Keep separate buildings such as 4A and 4B distinct while combining duplicate source rows for the exact same address.

Manager operations

Prepare and assign the night’s routes from one control view.

Managers can work with several route files at once and preserve existing assignments while adding newly imported routes.

  • Process several route datasets together or connect a supported route-data source.
  • Review the latest processed routes independently of current ownership.
  • Select and assign several routes to one courier in a single action.
  • Prevent silent duplicate ownership and require confirmation before transferring a route.
  • Unassign individual routes or clear all assignments without deleting route data.
  • Export a clear route and courier assignment list for the operation.

Operational use cases

Built for the moments that make delivery nights difficult.

01

Several routes, one courier

Combine all assigned deliveries in one map while keeping route identity visible whenever the courier changes route.

02

An unfamiliar route

Start from a chosen route or address, reverse the delivery order, preview the next stop and inspect all nearby delivery points.

03

A road is closed

Record a barrier across the blocked section and request a new route that avoids crossing the active closure.

04

A route starts elsewhere

Jump to a selected address, reverse the supplied order or isolate a group of points without changing other couriers’ map state.

05

A delivery point is inaccurate

Compare source and completed GPS evidence, then let a manager approve a better shared position for future routes.

06

Field controls obscure the map

Slide controls in from either edge, dock the ones needed, or let them close automatically to preserve the working area.

07

An upstream system is unavailable

Enterprise depots can continue working from routes already imported into DevDeliver, distribute them digitally and collect delivery photos or issue reports without falling back to printed route sheets.

GDPR-conscious data flow

Only approved operational fields cross into DevDeliver.

DevDeliver uses a strict allowlist for every route-data import. The import layer selects operational route fields before transfer, and the server independently applies the same restriction before processing or persistence.

  • Customer and recipient names, contact details and free-text customer notes are excluded by default.
  • Product names, descriptions, contents and quantities remain excluded by default. OPERATE retains only the limited ABOBO/Pakke category required for depot sorting.
  • The source barcode and, when OPERATE is active, LigaID can be retained as pseudonymous scanner-matching keys. They are not displayed in the courier map.
  • Delivery address, coordinates, route identity, sequence and necessary operational timestamps are retained to support the delivery workflow.
  • The original provider record is not stored by DevDeliver.
  • Access remains separated by company and role across account manager, manager and courier workspaces.
  • Delivery addresses and coordinates are treated as protected data because they may identify a person, even without a customer name.
